Senganthal farm started with a broad spectrum of conserving native breed cattle in the year 2015 by our founder S.Sureshkumar. The farm fulfills the twin purpose of conserving indigenous (native) cattle breeds and providing wholesome native cow's milk to people.
We focus more on the conservation of our Tamilnadu native breed cattle such as Kanchikuttai & semarai.
We believe cattle conservation can only be possible when our farmers start rearing local native breeds of their geographic region and when our native cattle play a role in developing the village economy.

About Us
In senganthal we concentrate on conserving Native breeds of Tamilnadu like Kanchikuttai, Thondaimadu, and Semarai, We also have North Indian breeds such as kankrej especially for milking purposes. The native cow milk is sold under the brand "Anicham Native Cow Milk"
We also research reversing the crossbreed cattle in increasing the native genetic material by breeding the crossbreed cow with our native bulls. We procure milk from these cows as well and sell it in the name of "Muthamizh Cow Milk".
We strongly believe that cattle should be raised in their natural habitat. Our cattle purely depend on natural grazing. Natural grazing increases milk yield and the milk from the cattle which is under grazing is enriched with all essential nutrients. The milk from these cattle is a good source of carotenoid, vitamin D and Vitamin A, and micronutrients.
About The Founder
Sureshkumar S, an Ex IT employee, left his high-paying job and started Senganthal cattle farm in 2015. He is more passionate about agriculture and an animal lover. He is one of the pioneers who started rearing native cattle of Tamilnadu. He says conservation of native cattle is effective when every farmer starts rearing native cattle of their respective geographic region.
